Teaming Characteristics describe, in finer detail, how people contribute to their team—inside and outside the organization. When teaming characteristics are strongly associated with the way in which people need to interact to be successful in their job, they support the work. When they don’t, even an otherwise qualified person may not feel they are making their best contribution to the team.

 

There are tens of thousands of Teaming Characteristics that may be reported, and the number on any report is not significant. Sometimes, just by understanding one's Teaming Characteristics, we can grow in appreciation for the individual ways each teaming characteristic contributes to the organization and learn ways to be more effective.
